City University Dojo

City Dojo was one of the first dojos established by Sensei Mizuno in the UK, in 1974. Sensei Adrian has been teaching City dojo since 1998, and training in the BSKF since 1988, with a long history going back to Glasgow dojo. Adrian enjoys nothing more than a good hard training session finished with some randori (free sparring), followed by some well-earned beers afterwards. Whenever there's karaoke, you know he won't be far away...

City Dojo is a diverse and lively club, with a friendly atmosphere and many experienced black belts there every week. The club is lucky to be very well equipped and often makes use of its tatami mats, kick and punch pads, protective gear and gloves to make training fun (and good exercise!).

City currently trains 2 times a week on Wednesday and Friday. Please see the venues page for more information on where to find City dojo, or contact Sensei Adrian here: cityshorinji AT ntlworld.com
